Jayda Gray
Director
Ms. Gray is from Grand Prairie, Texas. She began her dance
training at the age of four at Amanda’s Dance Express and
continued her dance training in high school where she became
captain of the Bowie High School Belles Drill Team.
After graduating from Bowie in 2013, she took her dance training to
Tyler, Texas where she became a member of the Internationally
Famous Tyler Junior College Apache Belles. Ms. Gray served as a
dance captain her sophomore year on the team. After she
graduated from TJC, she transferred to Sam Houston State
University and began her teaching career with a local dance
studio and with HTEDance. Ms. Gray is a senior instructor for
HTEDance and has been a part of the choreography teams for
the Dallas Holiday Parade and Rose Parade in Pasadena,
California. She graduated with her bachelors degree in Business
Management in 2017. After college, she went on to become the
assistant director for the drill teams in Shepherd ISD for three
years. Ms. Gray later came back to Bowie and served as the assistant director for the
Belles Drill Team for two years. She now currently serves as Head
Director to the Belles and is excited to be home to continue fostering old
traditions and creating new ones!
